Bkerzay is a conservation project in the Shouf Mountains near the villages of Baakline and Kfarhim. Its aim is to promote local organic products such as soaps, oils, herbs and honey. After a beautiful drive up through the Chouf landscape, one can enjoy a mouth-watering local breakfast or lunch on its lovely terrace, and explore the surrounding nature by a short hike on one of the designated walking trails. The landscape is covered with olive groves, lush woods and a variety of flora indigenous to Lebanon. The place also displays and offers exquisitely crafted artistic pottery and the chance to learn the craft. Only open on weekends.
