The charming wine château of Coteaux de Botrys was opened in 1998 and produces quality red wines and arak. It is located southeast of Batroun in a village called Eddé (not to be confused with the Eddé near Byblos). From June through September, on every first and last Sunday of the month, a lunch and wine tasting event is organized. Outside this period, wine tours need to be booked in advance. 

To reach the winery from Beirut, take the coastal highway to the north and turn right just before the large checkpoint at Batroun (there are signs indicating a wine route). After climbing for a few kilometers, the winery is sign-posted to the left. After the turn, follow the road for about another 3 kilometers and you find the winery on your right.
