Surrounded by dolomite rocks, the construction of the Faqra Kfardebian site was initiated in the ninth century BC. The area also features a square shaped eight-meter wide altar and a shrine. At the archeological site on the other side of the road are a large temple (34 x 14 meters) dedicated to Astarte and some tombs (the entrance fee is 3,000 LBP).
