Situated in Wadi al-Habis, north of the old center, are several caves and tombs from the Canaanite, Roman and Byzantine eras. Some are easily accessible by walking up behind the restaurant, while others can only be reached via ladders and steep climbs.

To reach the site from the large roundabout southeast of Zahle, head northeast toward Baalbek, when after five kilometers you will arrive in the modern center of El Fourzol.

Turn left at the brown Habiss el Furzol sign, opposite the Coop Supermarket and a little shrine. Continue straight until after about one kilometer you reach a small roundabout. Just after the roundabout, take the right fork and after about 500 meters, take a left. After one kilometer, the road will end at the restaurant from where the views across the valley are lovely.

Although the caves are not especially impressive, the restaurant makes for a nice spot for lunch or dinner in summer.
