Hike in Green Lebanon

Indulge Yourself with a Local Wine Tasting Tour

The third UNESCO-recognized biosphere of Lebanon is simply gorgeous! With its endemic plants and a rich fauna, other reasons why we love Jabal Moussa are its many Roman remains - e.g. one of the best preserved Roman roads that 2000 years ago linked the coast to the Beqaa Valley -, its dense forest landscape and the stunning views.

You can learn all about the exuberant flora and fauna, cross the highest peak, visit an abandoned settlement on top of the mountain, or enjoy the far views on Adonis river and it's beautiful lake. After your hike, you will enjoy an exquisite lunch at a local table d’hote.

YOUR DAY TOUR INCLUDES:
  • Transportation from and to Beirut.
  • A 3 hour guided hike in the Jabal Moussa Biophere, starting either from Qehmez village (level 4) or Mchati village (level 6/7), including entrance fees, OR a 3.5 hour loop hike starting from Chouwen and going to Ibrii and back (level 7). During the latter hike, you can add a detour of 30 minutes to pass by the Chouwen lake.
  • A generous lunch with a selection of hot and cold Lebanese mezze with a tabkha (a Lebanese dish), including fruits and soft drinks at a local table d’hote.
