The old center of Jounieh is centered around Old Mina Street and runs from the Fouad Shehab Stadium to the Jounieh harbor in the southwest. With its traditional houses and cobblestone streets, this area managed to maintain its original charm and is well worth a visit.

There is a large variety of shops selling retail, antiques, carpets, shoes and accessories.

The area is also home to some attractive restaurants and hotels, generally with beautiful seaside terraces and swimming pools.
