Sporting Club is one of Beirut's oldest and largest beach clubs and attracts a mixture of families, retirees and young professionals. It is one of the best in the city for a quiet relaxing day or drinks by the sea in the evening.
It features a 1/2 Olympic sized swimming pool, a lap pool and a large children's pool as well as access to ocean swimming. A restaurant and snack bar serve basic Lebanese dishes and fish, and a recently opened pool and terrace bar serve drinks all day as well as during the evening.
