In the depths of the Smar Jbeil Mountains lies a friendly Bed and Breakfast with an atmosphere of relaxation and hospitality. TAFLA offers comfortable, clean rooms (all with AC) at affordable prices, and delicious home cooked food in a peaceful and green environment.

During summer time, you can enjoy the sea-view from the surrounding flower and fruit gardens, while in winter the fireplace in the shared living room will keep you warm and cozy. Double-rooms with private bathrooms are available at 100 USD, with slightly lower prices during weekdays. You can also erect your own tent at 20 USD per person or rent one for 25 USD per person. A breakfast buffet is included and free Wi-Fi is available.

To reach Tafla from Beirut, take the coastal highway to the north and turn right just before the large checkpoint at Madfoun (there are signs indicating a wine route). Continue up the mountain passing Rachana. About 5 minutes after Rachana you enter Smar Jbeil. After a strong right curve, you find a restaurant on your right (Mat3am el Talle), where 10 meters after you turn left following the Tafla sign (a huge funny cow). From here a narrow road takes you passed a long white fence and a private residence. Tafla is located on the right after the white fence ends.
