The Tannourine Cedars Forest Nature Reserve (+961 (0)6 500 550 / (0)3 815 029) is one of Lebanon’s densest cedar forests and home to 25 percent of the country’s cedars. The rocky terrain and steep slopes in this stunning mountainous landscape is perfect for hiking.

The main entrance is a few kilometers north of Tannourine el-Faouqa, where the information booth is also located. The reserve is open from April until November between 8:00 and 18:00 and the admission fee is 5,000 LBP. Further along in Tannourine el-Tahta, is the other part of the reserve.
