Although there is no bus from Beirut going all the way to Beiteddine, the minibuses to Barouk pass the roundabout just south of Beiteddine. The buses leave from the Cola Intersection and either go directly to Barouk (only in the afternoon), or require you to switch to another minibus in Baaqline. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the roundabout just past Baaqline. From there to Beiteddine is a 15 minute’ walk northward (left). Duration: 75 - 90 min. / Costs: 3,000 - 5,000 LBP.
For a taxi from Beirut to Beiteddine, expect to pay around 60,000 LBP. Duration: 60 - 75 min.
From Beirut to Beiteddine by car, take the coastal highway to the south. Near Damour, take the exit toward ‘Beit ed Dine’ from where the road rises and turns land inwards. From Deir el-Qamar, continue straight and take a sharp turn to the right once in Maasser Beiteddine. About 1.5 kilometer after Maasser Beiteddine, take the right fork down leading to the big parking square in front of the palace. Duration: 60 - 75 min.
