Experience the warm and generous soul of Lebanon’s second largest city and get amazed by its hundreds of scents, from the fresh fruits of Souk Al Bazerkan to the soaps of Khan Al Saboun. During your day, you will wander through Tripoli’s old town and souks, a jewel left by the Mamluks during the 14th century, and visit the Saint-Gilles citadel, Hammam (bath) Al Abed, Souk Al Haraj, the Great Mansouri Mosque and Hammam Izz Ed-Dine.
Since Tripoli is one of the culinary capitals of Lebanon, you will taste several mouthwatering dishes along your way in some of Tripoli’s most famous spots: maliziye, hummus and fatteh for breakfast, moghrabiye for lunch, “kaake trabolsiye”, coffee & juice, and of course some sweets!

What to Wear/Bring: Water (1 lt), comfortable shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen. Women are advised to dress appropriately (e.g. no shorts and short skirts) and bring something to cover their arms, legs and hair for when visiting the mosque.
