In April 2004, the Art Loungewas born, occupying more than 900 square meters of gallery and cultural space and divided into a main gallery/lounge, a bar, a bookstore, a concert space and an art store. The Art Lounge is an exhibition space for contemporary art and hosts cultural events such art shows, music performances and other cultural happenings (e.g. fashion and design). Coming from Mar Mikhael, the Art Lounge is located just before the bridge to Burj Hammoud, between Charles Helou and Armenia Street.
