Plan bey is not a simple shop, is an art gallery with beautiful artifacts and paintings from artists of the region. You can find photography, paintings, illustrations, carpets, among many other beautifully made items. I really loved the illustrations from Lebanese artists, I bought two for my place and I will probably buy another one.
You can even find old prints telling many intimate stories about our beautiful old Beirut.
