TODD - 19 MARCH 2017 (MULTIPLE TOURS)
My wife and I have been on several tours with Georges and Saskia - and plan on going to all the others! They have all been relaxed, inexpensive and fun. Highly, highly recommended.Paragraph. Klik hier om te bewerken.
JASMIN - 5 SEPTEMBER 2016 (MULTIPLE TOURS)
Excellent tours! During my stay in Lebanon I spent all my Saturdays with Saskia and George and whatever fun people joined their tours. The descriptions were accurate and very helpful for preparation - I always knew what I was letting myself in for. During the tours everything was perfectly organised. Saskia and Georges were flexible and helpful in any way they could. They made me feel so comfortable it felt like travelling with family. They explained everything their participants wanted to know and were always approachable. Also, the bus is comfortable, air conditioned and comes with what I would call Lebanon's best bus driver. On top of all that, their deliciously fresh, hand-packed and organic lunchbags alone were worth joining the tours!

LOGAN - 17 JULY 2016 (BATROUN WINE & BEER TOUR, OLD TRIPOLI & JABAL MOUSSA HIKE)
I have taken three tours with Saskia and Georges, and all have been fantastic. They bring their expert knowledge of Lebanese history and culture to enrich each trip. The lunches are also excellent--in particular, the home-made ftiret batata is incredible. You'll leave with a better understanding of the country, new friends, and the memories of an amazing experience.
STEFAN 17 JULY (JABAL MOUSSA HIKE)
Living Lebanon's adventures are a great way for people not familiar with Lebanon or without a car to explore the country. I participated in the hike to Jabal Moussa and had a great time. The group of participants was a nice mix of young and old, foreigners and locals. The two tour guides Saskia and George took great care of the group, were able to give a lot of local insights and were extremely hospitable. I can definitely recommend to participate in an event with Living Lebanon.
JACK - 27 JUNE 2016 (BEQAA WINE TOUR, QADISHA VALLEY & TANNOURINE HIKE)
Have been on three Living Lebanon tours now. Not normally a fan of organized tours but these guys are great. They go to some great locations and are a lot of fun!
AMY - 11 FEBRUARY 2016 (TRIPOLI  TOUR)
"Took a private tour (3 persons) with them to Tripoli, Georges was our guide. Fantastic cultural-culinary tour, highly recommended."
ENRIQUE - 24 FEBRUARY 2016 (PRIVATE TOUR)
"These guys took care of my family while they were visiting me in Beirut. I had to work, so I payed them to take them around. When they came back from the tour, I offered Georges and Saskia a drink, my cousins had nothing but smiles. Georges gave me a lecture on Lebanese archeology, history and culture and I found that Saskia published a tourism book on Lebanon. Down to earth non pretentious guys, respect."
CANDICE - 22 NOVEMBER 2015 (BAALBEK & ANJAR TOUR)
"Had a great time yesterday with the group tour to Baalbek and Anjar! Great tour guides, who knew a lot about the history and used humor to help with the story telling. They made it so much fun! PLUS this amazing, personal touch of homemade lunches that were AWESOME and soooo tasty!! There is a lot of care and love that go into what they do.....much appreciated!"
EUGENIA & FEDERICA - 12 OCTOBER 2015 (BAALBEK & ANJAR TOUR)
"We really appreciate Living Lebanon’s trips! The places you chose were a good match because they were not too far away from each other and we had all the time to enjoy both of them. The packed lunch was perfect, really! The bread with labneh, potatoes and mint was delicious!!"
GEORDIE - 01 SEPTEMBER 2015 (QADISHA VALLEY TOUR)
"Dear Saskia and Georges,
Thanks for the photos and thanks so much for Saturday's trip. Everyone I've spoken to loved it and those who couldn't come we're jealous to hear about it. The thing most people were happiest with was the both of you. So well deserved credit!"
ISABELLA - 13 DECEMBER 2016 (SAIDA & MLEETA)
I would recommend Saskia and Georges' tours to anyone visiting Lebanon. Both were incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable and welcoming on our trip to Saida and the south. The small group size (14 on this particular tour) made for a more bespoke, flexible outing and meant that the tour felt just like spending a day with newfound friends. I will be back!
VALERIA - 16 AUGUST 2016 (MULTIPLE TOURS)
If you are visiting Lebanon you definitely shouldn't miss Saskia and Georges' tours! Not only do they have an amazing knowledge of the country and its history, but they are also very warm, friendly and outgoing guides, perfect examples of the Lebanese hospitable spirit. Discovering Lebanon with them feels like travelling with a group of friends! I highly recommend going on their tours to the major landmarks in the country as well as to the hikes in the beautiful Lebanese mountains and valleys. One more nice point: you don't want to miss the group drinks at Café Em Nazih after each tour! They are a great occasion to meet interesting people. And finally, I would also like to warmly recommend the Living Lebanon guidebook. It is the absolute best source of information available to go around the country on your own, by car or public transport.  Keep up the great work Saskia and Georges!
LIESBETH - 9 AUGUST 2016 (MULTIPLE TOURS)
Saskia and Georges are an amazing team with a fantastic knowledge of Lebanon and a great sense of humor. Their day tours cover the must sees of Lebanon as well as trips to places that are off the beaten path. Living Lebanon gave me a better feel of the real country, its people and its history. Their approach is so warm and welcoming, a true example of the Middle Eastern hospitality. I also highly recommend the Living Lebanon guidebook. By far the best travel book for a great road trip in Lebanon.
ANTHONY - 13 JULY 2016 (WADI MOUKHTARA HIKE & OLD TRIPOLI)
Really easy way to explore Lebanon and immerse yourself in the different cultures. Saskia and George highlight the beauty of the various locations while also recognizing the dilemmas that the country faces. More people need to attend these tours in order to challenge orientalist ideology while also exploring a country with an infinite amount of contradictions.
ZSOLT - 12 MARCH 2016 (SAIDA & MLEETA, QADISHA VALLEY, BEQAA WINE TOUR, BAALBEK & ANJAR)
"These guys rock! After having attended a few weekend escapades with them, it is clear that Saskia and Georges are not your average tour guides. I am generally not a great fan of organised tours, but travelling with them feels more like a personal road trip with your local friends. A great day out, gorgeous food, relaxed atmosphere and a glass or two at the end of the trip are all guaranteed. Absolutely recommended!"
KATIA, VIRGINIE AND FRANÇOIS - 08 NOVEMBER 2015 (BAALBEK & ANJAR TOUR)
"Very good value for the money: Nous sommes allés visiter Baalbeck ainsi que Anjar le 10/10/2015.
NORA - 03 OCTOBER 2015 (QADISHA VALLEY TOUR)
"The trip was OUTSTANDING! I loved everything about it. All of the places visited and the sights far exceeded my expectations. And the bus driver might be the best driver ever ;-) What can I say about you ... so knowledgeable, so well organized, and so very receptive to the needs of everyone :-). And all the better with the chilled beer on our way back!
Thank you for putting together such a wonderful trip. Though I lived in Lebanon for quite a while, I still learned a lot from it."
