Hiking

Hiking can be enjoyed anywhere in Lebanon, with Mount Lebanon as the main hiking area. The optimal hiking seasons are spring and autumn, although the higher peaks and shaded reserves are also very well suited to a summer hike.

Because not all hiking paths in Lebanon are well maintained and many of them lack good signage, it is not always advisable to explore them by yourself. Fortunately, Lebanon has many small local activity companies that offer fully organized and guided hikes. Click here for contact details and more information.
