Burj Hammoud is scattered with eateries and restaurants serving delicious Armenian food. Excellent choices are the tiny upstairs’ restaurant Onno and the friendly, small Varouj.

Burj Hammoud can be reached by LCC bus 2 and 8 or on foot continuing on Armenia Street from Mar Michael. After crossing the bridge over the Beirut River, the area is a little bit further down and on your right.

TIP: head to Ghazal Bakery and try one of their famous “lahme bajeen”, a very thin pizza topped with mince meat and drenched in lemon juice.

Tucked away in the narrow streets of Burj Hammound, this tiny Armenian restaurant serves a large variety of excellent Armenian food. A written menu is absent so the best is to let them guide your orders....
