Old town
Souq al Haraj

Picture

Situated northwest of the old center, the 14th-century traditional Souq al-Haraj is thought to be built on the site of a former Crusader church, of which the 14 granite columns are believed to be the only church remains.

One can still feel the traditional atmosphere and enjoy some good shopping there. Note that these souqs are closed on Sundays.
