With a snow season running from around mid-December to early April, Lebanon is home to six ski resorts. The largest is located only 46 kilometers from Beirut. All offer good accommodation options, with prices varying greatly depending on the season. Rental equipment is available in all resorts and a complete set can be obtained for between 5 and 12 USD/day. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs are everywhere, with the highest density in Mzaar Kfardebian. In general, the slopes are open from 8:00 until 15:30 (16:00 in the weekends) and with the exception of Mzaar Kfardebian, only day or half-day passes are available.

If you do not feel like organizing a trip by yourself, Ski Lebanon offers complete packages, including excursions and tours. They can also provide you with more information on the resorts and most accommodation options (+961 70 103 222 / 211 503, www.skileb.com).

Outside the winter season, the resorts - with the exceptions of The Cedars and Faqra - have little to offer and public transport is mostly absent. Click on their links below for more information.
