Beit Mery & Broummana

Situated in the Metn Mountains at an altitude of about 800 meters, the villages of Beit Mery and Broummana both are summer resorts that can easily be visited as a day trip from Beirut.

Reasons for a visit are the panoramic views of Beirut and the sea, the beautiful Monastery of Beit Mery, as well as a dinner in one of the well-known restaurants. In February and March, Beit Mery hosts the attractive Al Bustan Festival.
